MUXBOARD® is the suitable alternative for gypsum board, calcium silicate board, fiber cement board, MGO board and other aqua- or fiber-cement related panels. Easy to install and transport, Class A1 incombustible with fire resistance up to 3 hours, water resistant and lightweight — while saving time and labor costs. Good sound insulation, no formaldehyde, high strength, no asbestos and environmentally friendly.

    Fireproof

    MUXBOARD® is Class A1 incombustible (EN 13501-1), rated for fire resistance up to 3 hours: EI 120 min (partition walls) & EI 180 min (cladding) (EN 13501-2 / EN 1364-1:2015).

    Water resistance

    Extremely stable in performance and does not expand in places of high humidity or in bathrooms. It will not physically deteriorate when subjected to water or moisture, provides a strong moisture barrier and has a superior resistance to thermal movements during hot and cold cycles (thermal shock).

    Light weight

    This light board has a great bending strength and saves time, space, weight and expenses. It is a new and highly efficient wall solution with strong impact resistance, and it maintains its quality during construction.

    Saves time & labour costs

    Easy to prepare, handle fix and attach. Easy to cut with a cutter, stationary or hand saw on slow rotation using carbide-tipped teeth. Can be screwed or nailed without warping or cracking. The surface allows textured or cementitious renders, or direct paint, wallpaper, ceramic tiles and natural stone strips.

    Sound insulation

    The board and it's particles provide excellent sound insulation for walls, floors and ceilings.

    High strength

    Walls made of MUXBOARD® are very solid and substantial and cannot easily be damaged by shocks and impacts. MUXBOARD (6 mm) is more solid than paper-backed plasterboard (9.5 mm), and MUXBOARD (8 mm) can replace gypsum board (12.5 mm).

    Non toxic

    No formaldehyde and no asbestos. A durable and chemically stable board that will not cause harm to people or the environment. MUXBOARD is made without asbestos or other harmful fibers. MUXBOARD® is 100% recyclable.

    Green & environmentally friendly

    Produced from natural inorganic raw materials. MUXBOARD contains no cellulose and eliminates mould growth, unlike paper-faced or wood-based products.

    Multi purpose

    Can be used for interior partition walls, partitioning systems, suspended ceilings, sandwich panels, flooring, interior and exterior walls, kitchen and bathroom wall boards. MUXBOARD® is the preferred plate for prefab and modular building.

Packaging & dimensions

MUXBOARD® is packed on solid wooden pallets or according to the customer's requirements and shipped. Dimensions are 1200×2600 mm / 1200x3000mm / 1220×2440 mm, or can be customized on request. Standard available thickness ranges from 6 mm to 20 mm.
